Do not go here. This place is not safe. My nephew is one of the many people who recently ordered a spiked (drugged) drink here. He was sick for days and went to an urgent care clinic. When he told the nursing staff his story they told him four other people had come in to see them sick that same week with the same story. All had ordered a drink/s here. If something similar happens to anyone you know strongly encourage them to file a police report. This bar is also discussed in a couple of YouTube documentaries regarding the local suspicious deaths and robberies involving drugged victims. Check them out, very interesting. Regardless what you do, Be careful and don’t put yourself in a vulnerable position. Be safe.
I’ve Lived in Austin for 20 years. There are SO many fun, more safe venues in our amazing city! I know I’ll NEVER visit this establishment again. Not worth it.
I suggest also leaving reviews on yelp. This place needs to be shut down!!! And a serious investigation to be done. And Austin PD needs to do better with said investigations. You're staff is spiking drinks and karma WILL FIND YOU ALL. Don't believe me go watch the documentary,
I had heard things and I'm due to come to town in a couple weeks. The real question now is, is there camera's in the establishment to protect people. If so, shouldn't be too much of a problem. Going to wait for an answer before I come. I am sure you understand.
I have been coming to this place since before I moved to Austin when visiting friends that live here. Since moving her a few years ago this bar has been an accepting fun place to visit that’s a little off the beaten path. The drinks are strong, the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is just right for a chill night or start of the night drinking. I highly recommend visiting them.

Be careful going to this bar there’s a documentary on YouTube called “Dead Bodies keep washing up in Austin Texas-Rumors of a serial killer” many survivors claim to having drinks at “SideBar” they claim in the video that’s where they blacked out after only being served 1 drink. I DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I’M NOT COMING HERE!!
